#6 | (WIP) Blaster System


Hello!

Over the last two-ish weeks, I've been working on the blaster system. This includes keeping track of ammo, reloading, multiple fire modes and switching between different blasters.

So far, I've been able to set up the reloading and fire mode sub-systems.

It's not much, but it's a very promising start. The next part of the blaster system I need to set up is switching between different blasters and storing them and their unique ammo types, in some form of an inventory.

I've made the decision to build the major mechanics in their own standalone files so I can freely experiment with features and go through the learning process. Once I have a good understanding of how to build and implement these mechanics, I'll merge them together to form the first release build.
